I hope you're well and springy! Feels good to finally train in the light again, hey?!
I'm excited to share with you another batch of GRACE from this month's musings and experiments - not least in the realm of AI. In recent weeks I've used it to help create training and rehab programmes, technique analyses, presentations, book summaries, magazine articles, awkward emails, codes of conduct, go-to-market strategies, pitch decks, promo videos and their scripts (see example below). The list goes on. There definitely still needs to be human input with all these (a 25km 'warm-up' in 2:55/km for a weights session is not advisable!), but on the whole, I've found it incredibly empowering, exciting and time/headspace saving! See the Grow section for a rundown of one of my favourite free tools: NotebookLM.

Information and inspiration to help you to grow Gracefull, inside and out
Right, prepare to have your mind blown.
Anyone else have a 'Resources to Read' or such-like folder? Mine has steadily grown over the years into something that would require a sabbatical to get through... until now!
Sources on the left. Chat in the middle where you ask questions. Studio on the left where you create... all sorts!
βCue NotebookLM. I am in the process of uploading all the pdfs, article links, documents, YouTube video links, website etc into my 'Biomechanics and Injury' note. From these 'sources' I can then select the ones I want and ask questions pertaining to them - or it will suggest ones for you e.g. How do different biofeedback modes and parameters compare regarding effectiveness for gait retraining across various populations? β(NB this article it produced doesn't link to the sources as I have to add you to the note for you to see them - still fully figuring it all out! π΅βπ«)
And then if you still 'don't have time' to read what it produces, there's the option for it to create a podcast from it with AI hosts... π€―

I often like to use this period to 'go underground' and spend some time researching and upskilling. This year the focus has been on doing a deep dive into technology advances in the world of technique analysis to help guide an exciting project I am embarking on with Sheffield Hallam University... Which has unearthed other potential opportunities... Watch this space is all I can say...
GROW GRACEFULL Your monthly injection of good stuff Hello Reader, I hope you're well and your year is off to a solid start with resolutions and routines still intact! Mine's been great so far... I really enjoyed hosting a fully-booked Strength and Conditioning for Youth Athletes online workshop at the start of the year, sharing a pre-run activation and a home workout with 50 keen coaches and athletes. Watch this space for more such support down the line... Last weekend I headed off to the...
GROW GRACEFULL Your monthly injection of good stuff Hello Reader, I hope you're well and having a fabulous festive season! I confess there was a delay in getting my festive juices flowing this year: I almost forgot it was December training out in the bright sunshine of Kenya! And what a trip! The aim was always to create a camp with a difference where you could both give back to yourself and give back to others. This self-selected a fabulous group that embraced every element of the camp. I...
