GROW GRACEFULL
Your monthly infusion of good stuff
Hello Reader,
I hope you’re well and surviving the rain and mud! Keep going, spring is nigh…
If you’re wishing you booked onto my Camp Kenya after all(😉) (we leave next Sat!), read/watch on for other options closer to home that I hope might tempt you/yours instead.
First a quick story. Last month a newsletter subscriber reached out to ask if I could maybe help her to organise a training camp in the Peaks for her group. Instead, I suggested she sign up as an affiliate so that her athletes get a 10% discount on my camps. Her group has now virtually fully booked my Peak Technique Youth Camp in October (plus she’s earned £560 commission and removed all admin burden).
If this sounds like a scenario that might benefit you/your club there are still spaces on my other camps this year, not least my Peak Compete Camps…
I hope you have some fun plans on the horizon. And if not, did I mention I run camps…?! 😉
As ever, read on for more on up-coming events and those hidden discounts🤫. Be great to connect...
Go Gracefully,
Email to parents concerned about their daughter over-training
Increasingly this is something I find myself advising on. In this email I share some clear guidelines and red flags, plus my underlying philosophy for keeping athletes happy, healthy and consistent (with some advice from a former National Junior Coach sprinkled in).
N.B. My weekly Grow sessions are now fully subscribed, but get in touch if you'd like to join us half-termly for goal reviewing and 2 new workouts.
Keely Hodgkinson - The High Performance Podcast
She's fast becoming one of the all-time legends of our sport after her stunning indoor world record last week. This podcast sparked a debate between me and my (scientific!) boyfriend about the performance benefits of spirituality. I believe it creates more fertile circumstances for reaching flow state (for which acceptance is a key component). He wanted stats! (I keep meaning to calculate what percentage of medalists are spiritual vs. normal population). ANYWAY! I highly recommend a listen. You can tell the presenters are a combination of inspired and somewhat flummoxed by her 'unorthodox' approach.
Lack of strength and conditioning is one of the top 3 reasons people get injured (together with progressing too quickly and not recovering enough). Tick that 💪 box with my 20min, running-specific workouts. Option 2 is for dodgy knees (or if you're tired).
This month we have activation, dumbbells and plyos (plus stretch)
Learn key biomechanical principles, effective drills, plus strength and mobility targets and exercises. Based on the insights from hundreds of in-depth analyses and extensive research, I'll share my most impactful findings to help bullet-proof your running.
A 5k Masterclass with Tim Hutchings and Eamonn Martin Fri 6th March, 6:30pm
The 5k is a "threshold" event—it requires the raw speed of a middle-distance runner and the endurance of a 10km/XC runner. In this deep-dive webinar, Tim and Eamonn will break down the event from two unique perspectives. Whether you are a speed-oriented runner looking to hold your pace or a high-mileage engine trying to find that final gear, this session will provide the insights to help you towards your next breakthrough.
Our camps are in some of the world's best running locations, with input from some of the world's best coaches. But they are about much more than just running...
As a newsletter subscriber you get exclusive access to our early-bird discount codes. We also offer 1/3 off for coaches (with commission opportunities), parents and partners.

What our Gracers and Gracelets Say...
What a brilliantly put together schedule and overall training camp. Becky’s attention to detail, prior planning and the way she structured each session meant that everyone got the benefit of her experience, advice and feedback whenever they needed it. The location was ideal for the event and the camp was great value.

GROW GRACEFULL Your monthly infusion of good stuff Hello Reader, I hope you're well and have had a great month of transitioning. I've been one very lucky girl again, making it out for the last 2 days of the World Champs. Wow! What a privilege. There was a mixed bag of results for my boyfriend's athletes: some better and some worse than expected. Sport, hey?! And a chance to practice what I preach to my mentees about overriding our negativity bias and reframing/learning from it all - if you...
