GROW GRACEFULL
Your monthly infusion of good stuff
Hello Reader,
I hope you've had a great month and are finally enjoying some runs in shorts and t-shirts!
I've had a relatively quieter month in terms of delivery, but very much bustling away in the background prepping for my Peak Compete Youth Camp in May! (Just 6 spaces left). The Monday of Masterclasses is open for anyone to book on, not just teens. Thomas Dreissigacker and I will be leading a day of practical workshops to help people to prepare for that start line mentally, physically, nutritionally and tactically.
Running group, Longshaw Estate, Thurs 6-7:30pm
There was also much excitement in my Camp Kenya WhatsApp group as we all witnessed the historic sub 2 moment... and then all proceeded to hammer socials with how we met Sawe (not to mention Kipruto 2:01 and Wanyonyi and, and, and...)
Camp Kenya 2027 guys... spaces are already filling up (but by people that aren't here and so don't know about the limited 15% early-bird codes below!). Also keen to make the one in Feb family-friendly so younger athletes can come in Feb half-term (plus miss a lil school)...
May sees me facilitating a BMC webinar with the aforementioned Thomas Dreissigacker (world-class coach who had 10 athletes in Paris Olympics), working at the Bannister Miles in Oxford (Community Mile is a great shout for families) and, of course, the inaugural Peak Compete Camp. (Plus a cheeky little trip to St Moritz to see the boyf).
Hope it's a great month for you. See you on the others side (or maybe even somewhere in the middle? 🤞)...

Pippa is the former England Football psychologist (credited with breaking our penalty curse!). In this podcast she talks about her new book. Her ideas often go against the grain of typical high performance culture... but they work. On many levels.
Lack of strength and conditioning is one of the top 3 reasons people get injured (together with progressing too quickly and not recovering enough). Tick that 💪 box with my 20min, running-specific workouts. Option 2 is for dodgy knees (or if you're tired).
This month we have circuits and core (plus stretch)
I'll have a promo tent in the race village, be doing some 'pop-up' technique workshops and interviewing athletes after the track miles. Come and say hi if you're there!
Suitable for competitive middle and long distance track athletes of all ages (11+) , take a deep dive into race preparation. I will be joined by elite coach Thomas Dreissigacker as he shares insights and practices from his squad (including George Mills, Revee Walcott Nolan and Mohammed Attaoui).
Suitable for 11-18 year-old athletes, this 2.5 day residential provides plenty of opportunity for in-depth reflection and individual attention in refining your race readiness and execution strategies. Key input from elite coach Thomas Dreissigacker can help to shortcut you to best practices of the pros.
Our camps are in some of the world's best running locations, with input from some of the world's best coaches. But they are about much more than just running...
As a newsletter subscriber you get exclusive access to our early-bird discount codes. We also offer 1/3 off for coaches (with commission opportunities) and parents.
My new “form” planting my foot in line with my hip instead of in front is certainly better. I ran a parkrun and without giving it 100% I got a 5k pb of about 90 seconds.

GROW GRACEFULL Your monthly infusion of good stuff Hello Reader, I hope you're well and enjoying a wonderful summer of running! Anyone make it to the London DL? What a treat! 🤩 We used it as a Camp Kenya reunion so we could go and cheer our pal Wanyonyi. He didn't quite deliver on the world record he promised us... but Kerrrrr! 🤯 (Click here for a funny cheering video 😅) Had a nice catch up with him at the hotel afterwards though #checkusout 😎 Whilst on the Camp Kenya topic, if you fancy it...
GROW GRACEFULL Your monthly infusion of good stuff Hello Reader, I hope you’re well and surviving the rain and mud! Keep going, spring is nigh… If you’re wishing you booked onto my Camp Kenya after all(😉) (we leave next Sat!), read/watch on for other options closer to home that I hope might tempt you/yours instead. First a quick story. Last month a newsletter subscriber reached out to ask if I could maybe help her to organise a training camp in the Peaks for her group. Instead, I suggested...
GROW GRACEFULL Your monthly infusion of good stuff Hello Reader, I hope you're well and opening up your festive flow! I've had quite the month of schmoozing! First with Kris Akabusi at the Running at 40+ Awards (total legend), and then with the Steve Cram crew on his weekend camp (simply awesome - 2026 dates here). Between those two events I've almost filled my Camp Kenya slots for March 2026 - AND 2027!! I have 3 spots still left for March '26 I would like to fill before Christmas. So I've...
