I hope you're well and have had a great month of transitioning.
I've been one very lucky girl again, making it out for the last 2 days of the World Champs. Wow! What a privilege. There was a mixed bag of results for my boyfriend's athletes: some better and some worse than expected. Sport, hey?! And a chance to practice what I preach to my mentees about overriding our negativity bias and reframing/learning from it all - if you choose to.
3 days 'surfing' on the Izu Peninsula afterwards was also the perfect tonic. No time to dwell when you're getting tumbled in the waves!🏄♀😅

I loved this article about Sebastian Sawe with details of his bumpy road to the top and some insights into his training. I know his coach Claudio very well having trained with his group back in the day. On Camp Kenya last year, he gave us the absolute honour of meeting and mingling with his current crop of top athletes (including Emmanuel Wanyonyi amongst many others).
